FAQ

Our data and images come from various government organizations including the National Weather Service, NASA, and NOAA. We use their public domain resources.  We are not endorsed by the NWS or any other government agency.

We do our best to keep this site operational. Many factors are out of our control. The government sites providing the data cannot provide 100% operation and neither can we. If you have a problem with our service, please let us know!
As always you should have multiple ways to be alerted to disasters.

We’d love to get your dashboard up and running as soon as possible. As a disaster responder myself, that may depend on deployment status. We’ll do our best to have it finished within 2-4 weeks. Feel free to message us for a better estimate.

If it’s somewhere else on our site, more than likely! Got something more unique? Let us know, it never hurts to ask!

Tracking down official and reliable information can be time consuming. Some of the government websites are filled with broken links and data can be hard to find consistently.

Having it all in one location greatly simplifies the process, saving valuable time.

We plan to keep the pages up and hope that local businesses or organizations will advertise on the pages to support ongoing work and operational costs for the website.
We can update the page in the future for an additional cost.

One small step

The fine print

We rely on data and image sources from several government agencies. They can not guarantee 100% reliability and neither can we.

Just as with their information using the information on our site should be one of several ways to form situation awareness.

Red Sky Ready is not endorsed by the NWS or any other government agency.

Weather data from .gov sites is in the public domain and freely available. It can often be a hassle to track down, many of the links are broken and the format can be challenging to use quickly.

Red Sky Ready custom dashboards allow you to bring their content from across multiple sites to one convenient location.
