Heavy rain caused flash flooding in Springfield Monday afternoon.
Many streets across the city were covered in water. Multiple water rescues and stranded vehicles were reported as well.
Heavy wind also caused some damage to trees.

The pond and waterfalls at Nathanael Greene experienced significant flooding. The walkway below the bridge was completely submerged. During a normal day, water flows over the pond’s spillway over 3 waterfalls. Each one of those was completely submerged.
The roadway outside the park also had significant flooding along it.
