Where is the Chinese Spy Balloon? Where is it going?

The Chinese spy balloon was originally reported over Montana. The US has not ruled out taking it down but is currently monitoring it. They say there is no evidence of nuclear material. The pentagon says they know that it is a surveillance balloon. It will likely be over the US for a few more days.

SHOT DOWN

Is there more than one?

Yes. The pentagon has confirmed a second one over “Latin America”.

Is there another one over Canada? There have been additional reports of another balloon over Canada. Currently Canada simply says they are monitoring a potential second incident.

Was there an explosion over Montana? A viral video on Twitter showed a minor flash and explosion in the sky above “Montana” and appears to have been a spam/marketing campaign. Officials in the area denied any reports of an explosion.

It appears the balloon does have the ability to maneuver besides just through wind patterns.
