New Orleans Takes Direct Hit from Large Tornado on 2nd Night of Tornadoes

A large wedge tornado has hit New Orleans East after yet another night of severe weather.
Injuries have been reported. Emergency operations are underway.

Many buildings, including a church, appear to have been destroyed.

Over 20 tornado reports have been made to the NWS most of them in Mississippi.
