Rising from the trials and flames of an unprovoked Russian assault, Ukrainian legends have emerged. Ukraine soldiers and citizens have held more ground than anyone expected. Their bravery has been one of the biggest stories in the battle of Ukraine. Putin may have underestimated the shear strength and willpower of the Ukrainian citizens.

President Zelenskyy has been leading his troops from the front lines. He has refused to abandon his country and frequently shares videos encouraging troops even while standing on the battlefield.

Perhaps some of the best and most humiliating assaults on Russia are coming from the ordinary legendary citizens of Ukraine. This man was driving along and noticed a Russian tank that had run out of gas. The man calmly rolled down his window and asked the Russian soldiers if they needed a ride back to Russia.

Ukrainian Citizens Arm themselves and take on a tank
The citizens of Ukraine have armed themselves with anything they have. Many have taken up firearms to join the fight. Others have learned how to make Molotov cocktails and are hampering Russian troop advancement.

The 13 Ukrainian soldiers defending Snake Island had these words for the invading Russian warship. A recent update reports they have been captured not killed by Russian forces.
