Overview of the Deadly Tornado Outbreak Last Night

Extensive damage is being reported as severe weather sweeps across the Midwest on 12-10-21.
Multiple deaths have been confirmed. The estimated death toll for Kentucky is at least 70.
PowerOutage.us is reporting over 300,000 without power this morning.

Kentucky

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear estimates the death toll for the state could rise above 50. A state of emergency has been issued.

Mayfield, Kentucky early morning images are showing extensive damage with city blocks being destroyed. The tornado hit a candle factory with 110 workers inside it at the time. Dozens are feared dead.

Marshall KY 2 inch hail with tornado

Arkansas

Monette, Arkansas. A tornado has struck a nursing home. One person has been died and five others are seriously injured.

This was previously reported as two deaths but has been revised to one fatality. The building has been evacuated and all residents have been accounted for.

Leachville, AR Dollar General destroyed.
1 Fatality reported.

Missouri

St. Charles county MO tornado.
One death reported. Several injuries.

Branson West MO 4 Homes destroyed

illinois

Edwardsville IL. Amazon warehouse partially collapsed after being hit directly by a tornado with people trapped. Up to 100 people were possibly inside. Police have confirmed multiple deaths at this location.

Tennessee

Multiple tornado reports.

Obion County, Tennessee tornado.
Two confirmed deaths.

Massive long tracking tornado

A tornado from that night has been reported as being on the ground for over 200 miles and has possibly crossed through 4 states (AR, MO, TN, KY).
